Peskov: Kremlin declines to comment on possible US sanctions

MOSCOW, Dec 7 (PRIME) -- The Kremlin does not comment on reports about new possible U.S. sanctions against Russia, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

"Firstly, if I am not mistaken, broadcaster CNN published this. We don't know whether it is a leak or a hoax. I wouldn't react to that… I haven't seen any indirect proof of that in the White House, this is why I cannot say anything," Peskov said.

Media reported earlier that the U.S. was considering disconnecting Russia from SWIFT and restricting currency exchange due to Russia's alleged aggression towards Ukraine.
